Our main hub is the Atomic Hockey facility. The classroom is located upstairs, providing a dedicated academic space. Just downstairs, we have our state-of-the-art Skatemill and Synthetic Ice, allowing for seamless transitions between study and training.
We’re fortunate to have additional top-notch facilities within incredibly close proximity. The Langley Sportsplex and Toca Indoor Training Facility are either a short walk or a quick two-minute drive away. Putting The Investment In Perspective
You’ve probably heard the comparisons before.
Skip a coffee a day…
Cancel a few subscriptions…
It all adds up.
That framing works for small habits, but not for education and long-term development.
Long before most families ever consider elite hockey or specialized academics, they’ve already made significant investments in their child’s early years.
What Families Have Already Invested In Over The Years:
- Day Care (Earlier Years)
~$1,600 / month
Full-time care during working hours — a normalized, planned investment for most families. - Development Programs
$300–$600+ / month
Skill-building and enrichment are layered outside of school. - Short-Term Training (Spring Hockey, Camps)
~$2,250 for 2 months
Seasonal development is added on top of regular schedules. - Extra Academic Support
$300–$500+ / month
Tutoring or learning support is layered as needs increase.
Why This Matters Now
By this stage of your child’s life, the question isn’t whether families are willing to invest – they already have.
The real question is whether that investment is aligned, or scattered across programs that compete for time, energy, and attention.
That’s why families who look at the full picture often realize Atomic delivers more value — not by adding programs, but by integrating development into the “traditional school” day.

Yes. We partner with Pro-Merita (through NIDES, SD71) to deliver BC-recognized academics. Students receive official report cards and transcripts, just like in public school. With smaller class sizes and a dedicated Academic Director, your child won’t slip through the cracks.
Our coaches and Pro Merita teachers are selected based on their qualifications and experience in working with a diverse range of students. They undergo continuous professional development and training to stay current with best practices in education and sports coaching. Our staff are committed to creating an inclusive environment that respects and supports all students, regardless of their background or individual needs.
We are proactive in staying ahead of emerging standards and practices in sports and education by engaging with industry leaders, attending professional development seminars, and continuously updating our programs. Our partnership with Pro Merita ensures that we are aligned with the latest educational strategies, while our adherence to Hockey Canada’s standards keeps our training methods current and effective. This commitment allows us to provide the best possible environment for our student-athletes to succeed.
We build flexibility into the schedule. Missed days can be made up, and students remain on track through supported online learning and teacher guidance.
All transportation between our classroom, on-ice, and dryland sessions is supervised and included in the program. Parents only handle drop-off and pick-up at the start and end of the day.
Our staff follow clear injury protocols and emergency action plans. All staff undergo background checks, and at least one is first-aid certified on-site at all times. If an injury prevents training, students still fully participate in academics.
Yes. Because we are BC Ministry–recognized, all credits and transcripts transfer back into public schools seamlessly.
We don’t offer trials (due to class sizes and registration caps), but we do allow flexible payment plans to ease the transition. Families should speak with our Academy Director about bursary or financing options.
Students bring their own lunches/snacks. We maintain strict allergy protocols, and meals are eaten in supervised spaces. We are a nut-free classroom
Each day includes approx. 3.5 hours of classroom academics, 1 hour on-ice, 1 hour dryland, and supervised breaks/lunch. The day is designed to maximize both academic focus and hockey performance.
Our program focuses on the holistic development of each student-athlete, emphasizing personal growth, discipline, and teamwork. Beyond the rigorous academic and athletic training, we provide mentorship from experienced coaches and educators. This approach helps develop well-rounded individuals who are prepared for success both on and off the ice, fostering skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.
We recognize the unique challenges faced by student-athletes and strive to create a supportive environment that minimizes stress and pressure. Our small class sizes, personalized education plans, and dedicated coaching staff provide the necessary support to help students manage their time effectively and balance their commitments. Additionally, we offer regular communication between teachers, coaches, and parents to ensure that any issues are promptly addressed.
Families can learn more about our program by contacting us via phone or email to schedule a personal consultation. We are happy to provide additional information and answer any questions you may have. To begin the application process, simply reach out to us, and we will guide you through the necessary steps to enroll your child in our Academy.
At Atomic Hockey Academy, we believe that discussions and education about Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (SOGI) are best handled within the family home. This aligns with our conservative values and those of our educational partner, Pro Merita. While we ensure a respectful and inclusive environment for all students, we feel that parents and guardians are best suited to guide their children through these important and personal topics. Our focus remains on providing a high-quality academic and athletic experience, while respecting the diverse values and beliefs of the families we serve.
At Atomic Hockey Academy, we take bullying very seriously. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards bullying and harassment. Our staff are trained to recognize and address bullying behaviors promptly. We foster a supportive and inclusive environment where students are encouraged to respect one another. Regular workshops and team-building activities are conducted to promote a positive and collaborative atmosphere. We follow Hockey Canada's standards and best practices to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all our students.
Leadership and teamwork are core values at Atomic Hockey Academy. Our program includes regular leadership workshops, team-building activities, and mentorship opportunities. Our coaches and teachers are carefully selected for their ability to inspire and guide young athletes. We encourage students to take on leadership roles within the team and provide opportunities for them to develop these skills both on and off the ice.
Schedule
