Shooting

One of the best things you can do at home is just practicing your shot. Repetition breeds perfection. Practice your Wrist Shot, Snapshot, Slapshot, Backhand Shot, and Deflections/Redirections with a friend.

Stickhandling

Stickhandling and Puck Control

Don't have cones or an aid? No worries, we show you how you can use a few extra pucks to practice stickhandling and puck control. Using a progressive approach, we slowly add difficulty to master the basics before progressing to advanced techniques.

Similar to our in-facility program, our at home program focuses on strength, power, speed, agility, flexibility, balance, and aerobic conditioning. Each of these components of fitness and training is required to play the game of hockey at any level, and the improvement of each of these components will improve your game. We provide many exercises and alternatives to improve overall readiness to play hockey in addition to explaining the muscles and skills these exercises target.
